Im a guy and I'm about to take my drivers test to get my license, yay, NBD!!

It may sound stupid because "guys are good at driving, parking, etc, and women are not) Lol. However this is not true, or just sometimes :)

I just need some tips on how to do it :)

The suggestions shown above are good. But the secret to parallel parking is the beginning. Make sure the space is big enough - it should be at least 1-1/2 times the length of your vehicle. And when you're backing up, aim the right rear corner of your vehicle at a point about 3-4 feet in front of the right front corner of the vehicle behind you.

All the best.

p.s. One of the best applicants I ever tested was a high school girl in GA.

This is for parking on the right hand side of the road: Car #1 is the front car, car #2 is the rear car. You are going to park between care #1 & car #2.

1. Make sure your outside rear view mirrors are adjusted properly.

2. Turn on your turn signal.

3. Pull along side car #1 so that your rear bumper is aligned with that car's rear bumper.

4. Slowly back up while turning your steering wheel hard right.

5. Continue backing until you can see car #2 left headlight in your driver's side rear view mirror.

6. At that time, turn your steering wheel back to center (wheels straight).

7. Continue backing until your right front fender will clear car #1 left rear bumper/fender..

8. When clear, turn your steering wheel hard left.

9. Just before you make contact with car #2, STOP!

10..Turn your steering wheel to the right and align your car equally between car #1 & car #2.

You should be about 18" or less from the curb.

OR you can use one of these methods: They work worldwide:
