I lost one of my eyes at birth leaving me with monocular vision. I would like to know if I would be allowed to drive any type of plant on construction sites? i want to gain a cpcs license and I'm worried that I won't be allowed to for health and safety reasons. My vision has never been an issue for me.

Your vision impediment should not be cause for disqualification for Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS). There are a lot of specific licenses, for various jobs. Your specific job may not have specific depth perception needs. I would be concerned about crane operator, forklift, and a few others where knowing how close you are may present an issue for you to do the job well.

You should ask your question on their site - http://www.citb.co.uk/Cards-testing/Construction-Plant-Competence-Scheme-CPCS/Contact-CPCS/
