Question:
Are there any other all season or all weather tires with the Severe Service Emblem, besides the Nokian WRG2?

For many years Nokian has made all weather plus tires that qualify for the Severe Service Emblem standard for severe winter driving conditions (e.g. the WRG2 and the earlier WR). I'm wondering if there are any other year round tires (not winter tires) that have met this standard.

Nope but the closet thing would be the GoodYear Assurance TripleTred..

I understand, but the tires that I mentioned are the closet less the emblem and the Nokian tires are the only ones that I know of that carry that emblem.

There are a couple that I've found:

Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero

Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3

Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3

Dunlop Graspic DS-3

You can check them out on tirerack. Just look up winter tires in your size and view the description. Most "performance" winter tires are mountain/snowflake. I used graspics in the winter on my car and they'd be my best "cheap" bet...not really cheap but compared to others they are. I recall saab owners getting nokians through their dealership as they aren't really available in the US mass market. I think Vredestein (cooper distributed in the US) has them as well but I have no experience with that brand.
